Jacob Nagle - Tartan 34
Long-time messabout regulars Tim Jones and Jocelyne Monette spent almost a year cruising
North Atlantic in a Tartan 34 sloop.
Their boat is named after Jacob Nagle,
an ordinary seaman who participated in some extraordinary voyages on the edge of 19 century and described his experience in
a diary - the remarcable Nagle Journal.
While qualifying Jacob Nagle as a small boat would be a bit of a stretch by our
freshwater-sailing standards, she is not that big in Atlantic Ocean, and their
spirit of doing more with a smaller boat is still the same.
